Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

Hardlight is published by Anatoly Makaruk. By downloading, accessing, or using Hardlight, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. App Access

Hardlight provides visual assets, footage, overlays, textures, and related creative materials for video and media projects. Some content or features may be free, and some may require an active subscription.

3. License to Use Assets

Subject to these Terms, Hardlight grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download and use assets from the app in your personal and commercial creative projects, including client work, social media videos, advertising edits, music videos, films, and other finished audiovisual works.

You may edit, combine, layer, color grade, and transform the assets as part of your finished creative work.

4. What You May Not Do

You may not:

• Sell, license, share, or redistribute Hardlight assets as standalone files or asset packs.
• Upload Hardlight assets to stock marketplaces, template marketplaces, file-sharing libraries, or similar services.
• Claim ownership of the original Hardlight assets.
• Use the app or assets in a way that violates applicable law or the rights of others.
• Reverse engineer, copy, modify, or interfere with the app's code, services, or security features except where allowed by law.

5. Subscriptions

Hardlight may offer monthly and yearly subscriptions. Subscription purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and are tied to your Apple ID.

• Subscriptions may automatically renew unless canceled according to Apple's App Store rules.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.
• Billing, refunds, renewal timing, and cancellation are handled by Apple and subject to Apple's terms and policies.
• Subscription access may change if your payment fails, your subscription expires, or Apple cannot validate your purchase.

6. Ownership

Hardlight, including the app design, brand, software, and original asset files, is owned by Anatoly Makaruk or licensed to him. These Terms do not transfer ownership of Hardlight or the original assets to you. They only give you permission to use the assets under the license described above.

7. Availability and Changes

We may add, remove, update, or change assets, features, pricing, subscriptions, or availability at any time. We may also suspend or discontinue parts of the app if needed for technical, business, legal, or security reasons.

8. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for how you use Hardlight and the assets in your projects. You must make sure your final works comply with applicable laws, platform rules, client requirements, and any third-party rights involved in your project.

9. No Warranty

Hardlight is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that the app will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or available, or that every asset will fit every project or editing workflow.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Anatoly Makaruk will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, business, or creative work arising from your use of Hardlight.

11. Privacy

Your use of Hardlight is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how information may be collected and used.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users, such as updating the effective date or providing notice in the app or on our website. Continued use of Hardlight after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
