Terms of Use / End User License Agreement

This End User License Agreement (“Agreement”) governs your use of the whiterecord extension for Adobe After Effects / Premiere Pro (the “Extension”), distributed by whiterecord (“we,” “us,” “our”). By installing or using the Extension, you agree to these terms.

1) Who we are

2) License grant

Subject to your compliance with this Agreement and any applicable marketplace license, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Extension on devices you control solely for creating and editing video projects.

3) Permitted use

• Use within Adobe After Effects / Premiere Pro in accordance with Adobe’s terms.
• Create, export, and distribute your own videos and derivative works produced with the Extension.
• Install on multiple devices you personally use, unless restricted by a marketplace license.

4) Prohibited use

• Reselling, sublicensing, renting, or leasing the Extension itself.
• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to access source code except as allowed by law.
• Removing or altering copyright, trademark, or attribution notices.
• Using the Extension in violation of applicable laws or Adobe policies.

5) Ownership

The Extension is licensed, not sold. We (and our licensors, if any) retain all rights, title, and interest in and to the Extension, including all intellectual property rights.

6) Marketplaces & licenses (Envato, Gumroad, other)

If you obtain the Extension, templates, or related content via a marketplace (e.g., Envato, Gumroad), your rights to use the purchased items are governed by that marketplace’s license terms. Those license terms apply in addition to this Agreement. If there is a conflict, the applicable marketplace license governing your purchase controls your rights to the purchased item. This Agreement governs your use of the Extension software itself.

7) Third‑party software & services

The Extension requires compatible versions of Adobe After Effects / Premiere Pro and may interact with Adobe APIs. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Adobe. Third‑party services you access (e.g., marketplaces, documentation, video hosting) are governed by their own terms and policies.

8) Updates & changes

We may update the Extension or this Agreement from time to time. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The Extension does not perform automatic network requests; you may need to download updates manually from the source where you obtained it.

9) Support & refunds

Support is available via 0.whiterecord@gmail.com. Refunds, if applicable, are handled under the policies of the marketplace where you purchased the item (e.g., Envato refund policy, Gumroad refund settings). Where purchased directly from us, refunds are at our discretion subject to applicable consumer laws.

10) No warranties

The Extension is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non‑infringement. We do not warrant that the Extension will be error‑free or work with every system configuration.

11) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or business, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Extension, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our aggregate liability for all claims shall not exceed the amount you paid (if any) for the Extension.

12) Termination

We may suspend or terminate this license if you breach this Agreement. Upon termination, you must cease use of and uninstall the Extension. Sections intended to survive (e.g., Ownership, No warranties, Limitation of liability, Governing law) shall survive termination.

13) Children

The Extension is intended for users aged 13+. Do not use the Extension if you do not meet this requirement.

14) Privacy

The Extension does not collect personal data. For details, see our Privacy Policy.

15) Governing law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Ukraine, without regard to conflict‑of‑law principles. Your mandatory consumer rights (if any) remain unaffected.
